Kinetic Coffee Co. ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's protected.
When you create an account: your email address and, if provided, your name.
When you place an order, including as a guest: your email, name, shipping address, and billing address.
When you save a payment method: we never see or store your actual card number. Our payment processor, Stripe, handles and stores that directly on their PCI-certified infrastructure. We only keep a reference id along with the card's brand and last 4 digits, purely for display purposes like "Visa ending in 4242".
When you sign up for our newsletter: your email address.
When you use our support chat: the text of your messages, so we can review and improve support quality. Our support chat does not ask for or accept payment information, and you should never enter card details there.
To process and ship your orders, manage your account and subscriptions, respond to support requests, and send newsletter updates if you've opted in. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (secure database hosting for account and order data), and our shipping carrier, only as needed to fulfill your order. Each of these providers maintains its own security and privacy standards for the data we share with them.
Account and order data is stored with row-level security, meaning your data is only accessible to you and to our backend systems, never directly to other customers. Payment information is never stored on our servers at all. We also run automated monitoring to detect unauthorized changes to our website's code.
You can update or delete your account information at any time by contacting us. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email, or by asking us directly.
We use essential cookies required for login sessions and shopping cart functionality. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
